Funeral & Memorial
As a celebrant and Interfaith Minister I can support you and your family through the loss of a loved one. Death is part of life and the loss of a loved one is a shock that can trigger deep feelings. It is a very painful shock even if it was expected.

The Process
As your minister, I will meet with you first to offer support and hear about the one who has died. In partnership and alongside your chosen funeral director and with as much or little involvement as you are able to contribute, with reverence, I will create a ceremony that truly reflects the essence of the person they were and will always be in your heart.
Together and with family, if you like, we can choose music, readings and other specific special things or you can just leave things to me.

Of course we cannot say what happens to a person when they die, no one truly knows. Whatever one personally believes, in my experience whilst the physical body leaves this world the love does not die. I am a grounded presence of sacred love and compassion, leading and holding the service for you, family and friends, to express their grief and reflect upon their own relationship with the one who has died. Celebrating their life, their unique gifts, however long they lived.

A memorial service can be held at an appropriate venue some time after a funeral has taken place when for example, friends and family were not available or could not attend the funeral such as during pandemic restrictions.

Follow on bereavement support is also available six months after the funeral if in time you have questions that you want to speak to someone about.
Ceremony cost
An Interfaith funeral or memorial ceremony at a crematorium or natural burial costs from £120.00 to £300.00 dependent on your requirements and is paid via the funeral directors. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this further and or pass my details to your funeral director and we will take it from there.

Living Funeral Service
​
Prior to dying and leaving this world in physical form, it is possible to arrange the details of your own funeral service with me. Together we will take the burden of responsibility for this away from those closest to you in a time of grief by preparing the service in advance. I am happy to visit you in any setting to complete this as long as it is safe for us to meet in person. my charge for this service is £200.00 with a £100.00 deposit.
